What does Dawarna do with my personal data?
We collect only what you give us through our forms and the technical data our host receives. We use it to do what you asked and, with your consent where required, analytics from Google and Microsoft to improve the site. We do not sell it and we do not run advertising trackers. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time.

Who we are
Dawarna (dawarna.com) is an English-language property guide for Amman, Jordan. You can reach us through the contact form for any question about this policy or your data.
What data we collect
We collect only what you give us through our forms (see the table below) and the technical data every website receives. We also use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages people read and how they use the site; see the Analytics and cookies section below. We do not run advertising trackers.
Technical data and hosting
Dawarna is hosted by Netlify, which processes standard server data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested to deliver the site and keep it secure. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact Google or any other third-party font service.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity set cookies and collect usage data such as the pages you view, your device and browser, your approximate location, and how you click, scroll and move through the site (Clarity can show this as heatmaps and session replays). We use them only to improve our pages, not for advertising. Where the law requires consent, for example in the EU, the UK and Switzerland, they run only if you accept the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Clarity masks form fields by default and we do not use it to collect names or emails.
Why we use your data
We use form details to do what you asked: email you when homes are listed, contact you about listing or advertising, or answer a message. We rely on your consent for notifications and for analytics cookies where the law requires it, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site for technical data. We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are stored by Netlify, our hosting and forms provider, and we may use an email service to reply to you. Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) process usage data for us as analytics providers. We do not share your details with advertisers, and we share them with authorities only where the law requires.
Where data is stored
Netlify stores form data on servers outside Jordan, and Google and Microsoft may process analytics data in the United States and other countries. By submitting a form you agree to your details being transferred and stored there for the purposes above.
How long we keep it
We keep notification sign-ups until you ask us to delete them, and contact, listing and advertising messages for as long as we need to deal with them, then delete them unless we must keep them by law.
Your rights
Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law, No. 24 of 2023, which took effect on 17 March 2024, gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. If the GDPR applies to you, you have similar rights. To use them, send a privacy request through the contact form naming the email address you used.
Children
Dawarna is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
