What are tenant rights in Jordan?

Under the Owners and Tenants Law No. 11 of 1994, leases made after 31 August 2000 follow the agreed terms, eviction needs a court judgment on listed grounds (such as unpaid rent after a 15-day notary notice), and the landlord must deliver the property fit for use and make necessary repairs. Rent can rise mid-term only if the contract says so.
